The Go Congress Wednesday Day-Off Tours

The congress team has put together several great day trips to help congress attendees experience Oregon. If you are attending the Congress and interested in a tour on the Wednesday day off, let Congress Organizers know by July 18 to help make sure the tour happens! (No takers, no tours!)

Columbia River Gorge / Mount Hood Loop Tour
Multnomah Falls, Spring
Multnomah Falls
The tour runs upriver, through the sheer basalt cliffs of the Columbia River Gorge, passing spectacular waterfalls. The tour will stop at 620-foot Multnomah Falls, and Bonneville Dam, where we will perhaps see Chinook salmon migrating through the fish ladder. Past the Bridge of the Gods, we will lunch in Hood River, the windsurfing capital of the world. The tour then turns south, into the Hood River Valley, one of the richest orchard lands in the American West. After a stop at a farmer's market, the bus climbs Mount Hood to famous Timberline Lodge—a tour that soars from sea level to over 6,000 feet in one scenic loop! The use of a local, Go-playing naturalist as guide makes this a most economical trip.

Departs 8:30 AM, return at 5:30 PM.

Cost: $45

The Oregon Coast Tour
